Welcome to the Acuitas Therapeutics blog.

We’ve been doing some work on our website and on our social media accounts, and now it’s time for us to launch our new blog.

We thought we would start with a brief introduction of who we are. Did you know that Acuitas Therapeutics is based in Vancouver, B.C. and is known globally as a leader in the field of lipid nanotechnology? For those who may not know, lipid nanotechnology is the use of incredibly small spheres made of lipids (fats) to deliver drugs. These tiny lipid spheres are more than a thousand times smaller than the width of a human hair.

We will be sharing a range of information here on the blog about the work that we do. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a spotlight on mRNA vaccines and our lipid nanoparticles (LNP), but there was a great deal going on here at Acuitas before that too. We’re looking forward to sharing some of this with you.

The team is made up of highly experienced researchers, scientists, project managers and administrative professionals – all committed to excellence. We’re also fun to be around. Our lab is a place of science, of course – and we also have big discussions, we make connections, and we laugh.
