Acuitas – Who We Are and How We Got Here

As the global leader in developing lipid nanoparticles (LNP) for nucleic acid therapeutics, the Acuitas team advances human health through our work with our partners – and by continuing to refine and improve our LNP. 

We are growing our team and maintaining (and even increasing!) our positive work culture – with a focus on supporting everyone who works at Acuitas. Our people are at the heart of our success, and we are committed to providing a range of opportunities to grow professionally and personally here at Acuitas. (And, of course, to have some fun together. Actually, a lot of fun together!) All of this to deliver for our partners and to push the boundaries of nucleic acid therapeutics for human health.

We think this is a great time to share the story of Acuitas. We have produced a series of three videos to do that.

The first video – found here – provides an overview of who we are and the history of Acuitas. It features interviews with our President & CEO, Dr. Thomas Madden; Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Ying Tam; and Senior Director Technology Development, Chris Barbosa – along with quite a few appearances of the rest of our team.
